If only one or two of the many problems I found during my first visit had improved, I would be suspicious of a trend, and assume inconsistency. But so many things seemed to be part of a positive trend that I am willing to toss aside my typical cynicism and suggest that they are getting better.

I’m curious–were both of your visits on weeknights? Weekends? In my old age (okay, it probably started in my early 30s), I’ve become far less enamoured of Fri and Sat night crowds AND the effect they have on most restaurants in terms of food and service.
I was told that over the past few weeks they just made a management change, so maybe that is the reason.
